Good day once again!

We are pretty sure 90% of android users have no idea about the newly added feature to Google keyboard, which allows users to pin copied words into the clipboard.

We have got lots of third-party applications which also have same feature and we can say it is a well thoughtful feature which have done great for most bloggers and workers who most at times send broadcast notification message. We have the likes of (swiftkey, Touchpal and lots more).


By getting to pin a copied item, it helps save users the stress of retyping a message over and over again. All you have to do is simply copy and pin the item to clipboard and whenever you need to send that particular message you can simply do it by following steps below.

Imagine wanting to send your profile details to different contacts on different platforms, you can simply go to your gboard clipboard and tap on the saved item to be inputted at once.



How to paste a copied pinned item from Gboard!


  • Just copy a particular message or keyword!
  • Now tap on the Gboard icon on the keyboard
  • Locate the clipboard icon as marked in the image below

  • Now you should see all copied item ,tap and hold on any and tap on the pin icon as shown below.

  • Finally you have successfully pinned the copied item. See image below!

In summary, you can now make a copy of anything and get it saved/pinned.

Note that all unpinned text would be automatically deleted within 1hour and the pinned text lasts forever.
